Location
Although it looks like a remote place, the photo was taken from the eleventh floor terrace of an apartment in Bratislava, Slovakia. The apartment has a view to a lake which even though circled by a 4-lane busy road it provides a space for many people to rest in the sun.Time

I was actually taking pictures of swans and ducks at the lake when I found that together with the people sitting and on the bank they created interesting compositions. The couple on the picture eventually got into water and there was a moment when everything aligned into what you can see on the pictureEditing
Apart from portrait work I mostly make a street photography which I normally post-process very little. Similar happened here, I converted it into BW, and did a bit of curves work.In my camera bag
These days I mostly work with Sony a7iii body and for street and travel work I usually carry zeiss 35mm f2,8 and sony 70-200mm f4 zoom.Feedback
Unless you want to stage similar picture, you just have to keep beeing prepared to look for interesting views and capture even when you come and visit your mother like I did taking this photo :)
