Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Montevideo Bay (Uruguay) at a side of port. Was a very interesting place for photos but this year the place began to be destroyed for transport reasons which I don´t like at all.

Time

I used to go near sunset this time at 7.30 P.M.

Lighting

Always I patiently look for clouds and sunset. No day is the same of other. Light and clouds change by minutes so in 10 minutes you may get a quite different light and colors among different clouds.

Equipment

on that time, 2011, I was using my first Canon camera, a Canon PowerShot A570 IS, an incredible tiny and very good old camera

Inspiration

The hill at center is an icon of the place and its rotating lighthouse can make a good effect when caught in time. Its fun to play with it. Sunset color and clouds made a perfect image to keep.

Editing

probably I didn´t touch it, I believe I left it as it was born.

In my camera bag

By this time on cityscapes I am using a SONY RX10MIV as it provides a good and variable lens that comply with very different situations including low light

Feedback

In this case, as landscape is mostly the same, is necessary to keep going and wait for a proper circumstance
