New Mexico Whiptails are probably my very favorite lizard species . . . and my garden is just full of them! Unfortunately, there are more cockroaches around this year than in the past, but never fear, my favorite little lizard saw fit to dine on one for lunch. I watched (and documented) the entire process beginning with the hunt, and terminating with the feast. Let's hear it for the Whiptail Lizard . . . helping to reduce the cockroach population one roach at a time!.
