Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot at the national art gallery in Ottawa. I'm all about the angles and I'm always trying to find the most unique way to see something.

Time

Mid afternoon.

Lighting

There is really nothing special about the lighting because in an art gallery, you'll find the lighting is already perfect for the mood the artist is trying to create.

Equipment

Hand held canon, standard lens.

Inspiration

The angle as mentioned is what inspired me to take this photo. When I went around the back and saw it looking right at me, it was perfect.

Editing

I did no post processing because of I were to do any, I'd have put some clarity/sharpening into the eyes.

In my camera bag

Always the one camera body, three lenses, 70-200, 24-70 and 10-22. External flash and remote.

Feedback

Check out the angles and be creative. Its digital, keep snapping. Often i know instantly when I've caught the right shot. Lighting changes a photo in an instance.
