Behind The Lens

Location
This Photo was taken at a friends home , they had just taken ownership " frankie " and asked I come over a take some photos of him. He was a very mischievous as most kittens are and gave me plenty of opportunities to get some photos.
Time
This shot was taken late morning, which gave a great soft glow through the kitchen blinds .
Lighting
The lighting was completely natural. The white background help make Frankie's orange fur really pop.
Equipment
I used my Trusty canon 5dmk3 with my equally trusty sigma 50mm prime lens .
Inspiration
My only inspiration was to really try and capture him being a Kitten .In this photo , he thinks he is being very sneaky and is hidden from view. Little did he know he was set up for the perfect photo :)
Editing
There was a little post processing in this photo, I added a little saturation to his coat as the raw files tend to be quite dull. I brightened the background a little to add a nice glow.
In my camera bag
My bag is pretty full .. I try to cover all focal lengths . I carry a few primes, a wide angle, large zoom and a macro, plus filters and backup camera.
Feedback
My only advice for shoots like this is to really interact with kitten , don't let it get bored... and always have you finger on the trigger. Take heaps of photos because they are very unpredictable and you never know what funny pose they will do next.
