I have spent an incredible weekend in southern Turkey last weekend (Aug 2017). 46 degrees C, places shut down due to lack of tourist... very sad to see - but I hope this will change soon again! ...Since the meteor shower was facing the opposite direction and I had some very limited time in the park after dark, I set up my camera for 40 minutes to take the star trails in this amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site and watched the Perseids with my eyes only.. (my very first star trails attempt..) A Night to remember! I will be back soon :)
