Location
This photography was taken in Monument Valley in the USA; This is part of a Western USA long road trip I did crossing 14 states and 30 000 miles;Time
Around 7AM in the morning with a sunrise that appear to be cloudy but still nice;Lighting
One strobe profoto B2 is used for this photography;Equipment
Nikon D800E, Lens is a Nikon 2.8 14-24 and the stobe is a Profoto B2;Inspiration
I've done a full long serie named an Eiffel Tower in Paris with models in a similar attitude and wanted few photo in some iconic US Landscape doing the same; For me Monument Valley remain with the Montana, the Iconic cow-boy movie landscape that printed my brain when i was a kid; I love this landscape and from previous research, I've seen very few fashion kind photo from that area ;Editing
I'm a stong believer in Lightroom and I use Lightroom; Photoshop is used only for some film filter that I have steup under photoshop;In my camera bag
Always a D800x, a 14-24 and a 24-70 then it all depend on the topic to cover;Feedback
This is a national park so it has some restrictions on timing to enter and to leave and on what you can do; As the Navajo are kind people we even have done some shooting with Navajo Horses ; In the USA the regulation is becoming more stringent on photography that invole a model in National parc like in California for exemple; This is a pity but it is best to read the regulation that occurs to be state based or sometimes county based...
