Dear Daisy: Thanks for writing. This bridge is unique! In my travels I've only seen one other and it was also in Vietnam. The first one was built by Japanese, this one built by Vietnamese. :) :)

Dear Iani: Yes, indeed, quite unique and far off the tourist track. I rode motorbike for an hour to reach the village and was so happy when I saw the bridge. I'd never seen anything like it before. Thanks for message! :)

Dear Efim: Thanks for writing, this bridge is quite unique. I found it in a small farming village near Hue in Central Vietnam. The community had been in place for hundreds of years, same old families still there, still farming and fishing. It was a lovely day and good memory! One thing: Inside the bridge was a Buddhist altar so that people could find a convenient place to pray on their travels. :) :)

Dear Jean Luc: Thanks for your wonderful comment. This bridge is unique, besides being hundreds of years old, inside it has a Buddhist altar for travelers to stop and pray if they like. I hope everything is good for you and your family. Now I am in America visiting with my family. :)
