Location
I took this photo when I was on a vacation with my family in Yercaud, a hill station in South India. One of the best I've ever visited.Time
I think it was around eleven in the morning. We went for a walk in a botanical garden when I saw this beautiful and perfect flower on the side of the path.Lighting
Well it was a sunny day I think. But this flower was under the shade of a tree. So it was neither too bright nor too dark. It seemed pretty much perfect for me.Equipment
I took this photo on my phone: Moto G4 plus. It has an extraordinary camera with a professional mode, which let me adjust the aperture to f1.8. That's when I discovered how good the phone's camera was. All my vacation photos were taken on my phone. Though the main reason was that I didn't not own a DSLR back then. But I think I would have switched between phone camera and DSLR for certain photos.Inspiration
Basically, nature inspired me. Be it plants, trees, animals, birds, insects. Also I used to take photos of flowers to show their beauty in a deeper and bigger way. I do take photos of flowers now but not that much. I'm trying to focus more on street photography too.Editing
To be frank, I did not. It seemed perfect to me so I did not change anything. In my camera bag
Well I got myself a DSLR very recently so I have just that and a kit lens. I hope to upgrade it soon. But I switch between phone and DSLR.Feedback
Sometimes you just have to be at the right place at the right time. Anything can become a beautiful photo. So just be attentive to details. Take at least five pictures of the same thing so that even if one turns out bad, there are four others to look at. And finally, try to experiment outside your particular category or field, so that you can find beauty in whatever you see. Beauty can be even in the things you don't expect!
