Took this at Six Mile Cypress Preserve in Fort Myers, FloridaTime
I took this late afternoon.Lighting
It was a sunny day but can be very shady walking thru the preserve. There was some natural sunlight shining down and I saw it and took the picture before it moved away.Equipment
Sony A6500 and a Sony 24-240 lens.Inspiration
I love walking thru this preserve. I'm always able to find something that is interesting, but rarely insects. This time I was just lucky.Editing
Cropped and rotated image a bit to make it horizontal.In my camera bag
Sony A6500, Sony A7RII, several Sony Lenses, and a Tamron 150-600 Canon mount with Sigma MC-11. Sometimes I bring a Godox Flash, and a tripod.Feedback
Be patient. Be quick to take multiple shots at different exposures, different focal lengths, and different ISO if possible. Steady hand or tripod on longer exposures.
