This was my first test of making pictures in studio. I have never expirienced to do this before. Offcourse I have used portable speedlights before but never done it with professional studio lights.Time
This image was captured at the beginning of Deceember 2016 in warm and friendly photo studio at the centr of my home town Riga.Lighting
Actually I have used 2 Light set up on this studio shots. Huge soft box as key Light and stip light softbox as a rim light. But on this image I don't see that strip Light was synchronizedEquipment
I have used my Nikon D810 with the Sigma 35mm F 1,4 art lensInspiration
I wanted to create some sexy glamour shots in the Christmas decorated photo studio. I had a beautiful Model @grandedame_el (Instagram), who is perfectly fit and have great Lingerie sets in her wardrobeEditing
I'am always working hard on my post processing. I am using lightroom and Photoshop and a lot of retouching techniques such as Dodge & Burn, frequency separation and etc. To make my images look perfectIn my camera bag
I am carrying my Nikon D810 with the Sigma 35mm F 1,4 art, Tamron 70 - 200 f 2,8, couple of speedlights and synchronizers, gel filters, spare battaries and much more. You should always be prepared for the type of shooting you are making. So think twice about the gear and spare gear you need before getting out.Feedback
Use F8, shutter speed of 160's and Iso 100 as a basic set up on your camera when preparing for your studio work. This are the great settings to start with. Use apperature to regulate your expossure, try to not decrease shutter faster than 200s of the second. Keep making good images and good luck.
