My boy bow paddler really wants to fish, pester pester, so i stop at an island and he dips his worm ( literally) while i look around me and see this image. So often we are in a hurry and miss the image buried within the blur of passage. This works for me because the sticks in the foreground echo the trees on the island and are mixed with their reflection. Sometimes the scene contains a powerful statement like this that to put into words would be difficult. Experienced visually and transmitted visually, but " i feel am'" No fish.... "I'm done!",says the boy and back to the canoe and off to explore the lake..
