Canadian Rockies. Goat Lookout is roughly located 38 km south of Jasper in the Icefields Parkway Region, and off Highway 93. This spot, complete with Mount Edith Cavell nearby, offers breathtaking views of the mountainous area that is the Athabasca River Valley. This region is also a great place to observe wildlife, including mountain goats and bighorn sheep, because of the exposed glacial deposits found in a spot just above the Athabasca River.

Shot on my travels in New Zealand. Summer down under.
