Last summer a grandson and i spent some time time together. This day we were canoeing down the lower reaches of the Englishman River on Vancouver Island and were about to run down this chute. We do so and get hung up on a rock at the bottom. "Are we sinking granddaddy?" No, I step out and walk us through. I am documenting this boy sized adventure, this little walk on the wild side.
