Location
I took the photo at the rural part of the Northern Finland. Actually, it's quite near the place where I live. There are quite a lot of old barns on the fields there.Time
The photo is taken in the middle of the day. I know, that's not the best time to take photos, but the clouds were forming fast and if I had waited a bit longer, the sky would have been totally grey.Lighting
The shot is taken using natural light. No light modifiers were used.Equipment
I used my faithful Canon EOS 50D. The lens was the Walimex Fisheye Pro 8mm. It's actually made by Samyang, I think. Great lens anyway. I used a tripod as I usually do when taking landscape photos.Inspiration
I was trying out the fisheye lens at the time. When I saw the dramatic clouds on the sky, I knew this was a perfect opportunity for the lens. The leading lines on the field added a nice touch.Editing
Yes, I usually process my photos with Lightroom and then a little bit in Photoshop. I use Nik's collection, too. I emphasize the colors a bit and add a little contrast. Nothing much.In my camera bag
At the moment, the 50D is my backup body. I use an EOS 7D Mark I nowadays. My absolute favorite lens is the Canon 24mm f2.8 STM. It's my all-around lens, usually always on. The other lenses in my bag are Canon 100mm f2.0 and the Walimex fisheye. I occasionally use an old Olympus Zuiko 28mm manual lens and the old Canon 70-210 USM lenses. I don't use much flash, but I sometimes carry a small Viltrox flash with me.Feedback
I recommed everybody to try out the fisheye lenses. They are a lot more versatile than you would expect. The only thing to remember is to get close. With this kind of lenses the main objects tend to be a bit small.
