I took the photo in Suwon, South Korea. It was in a higher part of the town, not the old center itself. Just wandering aroundTime
I worked in Suwon for over a week and I tried to see as much as possible from the city. This dat I took a walk after work in the late afternoonLighting
I saw the rays of the sun and I wanted to catch themEquipment
I used a Canon 70D with 17-55 f2.8 IS USM, handheldInspiration
The rays of the sunlight combined with the temple. The view was just beautifulEditing
Post processing is simple lightroom processing, actually not too muchIn my camera bag
I was walking light that day. What I take depends on the occasion: I can combine my canon 5d mark IV with: 70-200 f2.8 IS USM, 24-70 f4.0 IS USM, SIGMA 50mm f1.4 and SIGMA 150-600mm and a canon 70D and a canon flash 600 EX-II RT (on a safari trip I leave the 50mm at home)Feedback
Look for an attractive silhouet and a beautiful cloudy sky and radiant lights. Don't wait, just take the shot (but be sure you have the right settings). I used: Canon 70D: 33 mm; 3200s; f3.2; ISO 160. It resulted in a fast shutterspeed, since I pointed at the sun.
