This beautiful bird was fishing successfully in the waters at RSPB Burton Mere. Normally, Great Egrets are nervous of humans but this one knew that there were a number of us behind the hide. There were a lot of fish in the waters and this photo was taken just after the Great Egret had taken a fish. A delightful bird. What a privilege to have been able to see it and capture it
