Caught my eye because it reminds me so much of my little dog, Muffin when she would tear down the road! She loved to run! I see this little kid does too! Love the expression on this dogs face! :) The focus point is like perfect!

Extraordinary work......mind if I ask which lens you used for this image?

Amazing shot. Great capture of the running dog, but also a lovely composition with the dog in the lavender and a creative focus.

Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in UK near Guilford in a lavender field.Time
The day was a typical strong sunny day with and I was there at 4 pm for a short and fast shooting hoping to work alone in the field withour any kind of disturb.Lighting
When I arrived on the field I realised how much was small the field and how much was strong was the lighting. The sun was so strong and I wanted to shot in backlight with the sun in front of my camera behind the dog. Not easy for the camera and non easy to manage the flares of the lens but it was amazing. I like the result so much with the rim light around the dog and a lot of strong light behind him. The colours of the lavender are so soft and the lens did the rest giving me an amazing creamy blurred foreground and background.Equipment
I used my favourite equipment with the Nikon D5 and the Nikkor 300mm f/2,8 that I call killer lens because at the beginning is not easy but after a while become something you want to use forever.Inspiration
There are many pictures with dogs in the lavender and I wanted mine with my personal mood and my idea of a strong and motivated dog at his best. Many people think that action photos with dog in lavender are all similar but I see too many differences and it's so interesting by my side.Editing
I always post process my photos with Photoshop. It's like a make up for a pretty girl and I like to spend time on it. For me the post processing is something that shouldn't change something but reveal and help the communication of the photo. It's like to write something under a pic that explain when I did it and what I would like people to watch inside. In my camera bag
My bag is a very heavy bag and I feel so stupid all the time but I want to be sure to have with me the lenses for action and the lenses for portraits and landscape to use with dogs obviously. And even if I think I will take only action, I will take something that will inspire me in that moment and that will require portrait or landscape lenses.Feedback
I really think that photographers should watch the things with their personal eyes and the photos will be different. It's normal to be inspired by other people but this doesn't mean that the photos should be the same. If you like action photos, start understanding what there is inside an action picture before start to take it. Think about all details that are there not for a case but because the photographer wanted. This is photography.
