Location
This photo was taken west of Calgary Alberta while on a picnic date with my wife. I'm a self taught photography enthusiasts and try to take my camera every where with me.Time
This was taken about 8pm in the summer so the light was perfect.Lighting
I should have shot this as an HDR as there was such a huge range of light. I still think it turned out great.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D7100 and a Sigma 17-50 with a tripod.Inspiration
It was just a beautiful scene with how straight the road was with the towering trees on the side. The stunning Rocky Mountains at the end of the road was the icing on the cake.Editing
I brought out the shaddows and slightly brought up the color using Lightroom 6In my camera bag
I usually have my tripod, Nikon D7100, Tamron 70-200, Sigma 17-50, a flash, soft box and filters.Feedback
Leave yourself lots of time and try different settings. I like to shoot in manual mode so I can control the light and capture fully.
