Forget about heat and just relax
As part of the exploration of the local waterfalls, Etiwanda Falls, located in North Etiwanda Preserve, San Bernardino County, was one of my picks since I was nearby. Although I enjoyed the view of Etiwanda and Cucamonga Peaks while going up, hovering over 90F of a heat wave shot rather quickly up to over 100F by the time I reached the waterfalls. Luckily, the dense woods surrounding the falls provided lots of shade, which helped those who hiked under the scorching sun forget about the heat and just relax, while it was still relatively close to the city.
