Location
This photo was taken about 10 miles east of Saskatoon, SaskatchewanTime
At approximately 5:30 pm I looked out my window and saw this massive storm headed my way, grabbed my gear, jumped in the truck and got ahead of it for about 15 min of amazing lightning shows.Lighting
Lightning was surreal for this storm, I shot extra wide to encompass the massive system.Equipment
Canon 7D, Canon EF-S 10-22, tripod, ND filter for a 2 second exposure.Inspiration
Storm systems have always amazed me and always eluded me for photographs. It was fun to actually chase a storm and get a few really neat photos.Editing
Small adjustments and clean-up were made in Lightroom and photoshop. Very minimal though! In my camera bag
Canon 7D, Trifecta of lenses, remote trigger, tripod, various filtersFeedback
Capturing photos like this takes lots of patience and trial/error to get it right. Practice, practice, practice and one day something like this will pop up!
