Location
The photo was taken on the terrace above Loggia Dei Lanzi in Piazza Signoria in Florence. On this terrace there is a bar bordered by a glass wall. Access is via the Uffizi Museum.Time
The photo was taken on 09/07/2017 at 12:10 PM. I had accompanied a friend to visit Uffizi and I had brought with me the small Leica D-Lux to capture some notable image. I wanted to photograph the reflection in the glass when the Japanese who wanted to photograph the dome of the Florence Cathedral through the glass appeared to me. A nice schetch came out with both of us laughing like crazy.Lighting
I consider this photo a photo of street and therefore the lighting is absolutely natural to a sunny day...Equipment
Free handshake with the Leica D-LUX in manual setting by saving the file in raw format.Inspiration
Mutual sympathy and smile were a great inspiration for the situation that had been created. We both prevented each other from making the picture we wanted to do. I'm a selfie and she's the dome of the cathedral. A nice shot came outEditing
Only a contrast enhancement. No other post production has been usedIn my camera bag
I normally go out with: Nikon D5 and D850. Nikon 14-24; 24-70 and 70-200. Sometimes also with the Leica D-LUX as in this case. I have other photographic targets but this is the standard equipment in my backpack.Feedback
A general board for this kind of photo is to be always ready to catch the moment. Street photography does not allow you to miss the moment. If you lose it, you lose the picture.
