I spent an incredible evening with my three indian friends in Dubai! Its always a huge enrichment to team up with like-minded people and talk about the passion which we share…photography. There was not a single cloud in the sky during the whole day however shortly before sunset some clouds developed and when the sun went down those clouds started to glow in this beautiful pink! As the light faded away Burj Khalifa was lit up with a variety of spectacular LED illuminations. One of it showed the indian flag to mark the 68th republic day of India! I captured all of those graphics to later blend it into my base exposure. In this exposure the tones are relatively warm as it was shot just very shortly after sunset so blending the indian flag did not look suitable. By looking for a more warm LED illumination which properly matches those warm tones I decided to use this one of EMAAR properties.
