This photo was actually taken at my first studio workshop. It was held by a popular fashion photography Lara Jade Photography here in NYC.Time
Being a studio workshop with lightening it was done probably around midday.Lighting
It was a simply one light setup with a huge parabolic umbrella directly behind the camera.Equipment
At the time I was shooting a Canon 5D MarkIII. One light setup with a Profoto head. The modifier was a 6ft parabolic umbrella. Grey seamless for the backdrop.Inspiration
I had always been an outdoor photographer, sports and landscape. I was looking to learn studio work and decided to attend Lara Jade workshop. It was definitely a great experience.Editing
All post was done in PS by me. Basic technique of dodge and burn for the skin. Converted to black and white. Was pretty simple.In my camera bag
Ten years have passed since this image was taken. 2021 I now have a Canon R5 with several RF lenses.Feedback
