The fireflies have reached their annual peak and... wow! This year, I have seen more than ever before. To capture their numbers and magic, I drove to a nearby farm field with no artificial lights and set up on a tripod. The resulting image is actually five combined fifteen-second exposures, for a total of 1:15 of exposure time.
The mosquitoes were worse than I've ever experienced, too! With enough Off! Deep Woods to dampen my clothes from head to toe, I still received hundreds (not exaggerating) of mosquito bites.
