That image was taken in the afternoon, just before they close the Reserve.Lighting
At the time the picture was taken there was still a lot of light in the jungle. The shot was taken in the shadow, under the trees. Background was filled with shade, so the expression of the monkey is correctly exposed and there is detail in both planes.Equipment
