God turned his back and mother nature said "I will have some of that"
A truly wonderful, easy to access location in Norfolk.
Reputed to have last been used in the latter part of the 17th century.
What remain are the ruins of a parish church made of Knapped flint with ashlar dressings. The chancel has disappeared completely, reputed to have been moved in whole to a nearby church (West Somerton), where it sits opposed to the building that it has been married to.
What does remain of St. Mary's has been given grade II listing.
