I love the Rocky Mountain scenery. On an autumn day in the mountains, there seems to be a painting around every corner.

This Kestrel can be found on this dead tree on a regular basis. The Kingfisher landed on a lower branch. The Kestrel wasn't amused.

I was on the way to work this morning and saw this in the rear view mirror. I had to stop on the tollway to get it, but I couldn't resist.

This proud male turkey was showing off to the females. The dance was amazingly beautiful. As he turned in the light, flashing colors were cool.

Occasionally, in among the Red-winged Blackbirds, is this beautiful Yellow-headed Blackbird. Seen at Hagerman NWR at lake Texoma Texas.

This is the same Heron with his Gar lunch. He flew to the shore, I assume because the fish was putting up such a fight.
