Location
This was taken in Pigeon Forge Tn. It was an area that was being updated and they had installed a Ferris Wheel. I was in a long line with my family getting bored. As I looked around I saw some great shadows and light from the structure. The line was along the side of the Wheel where most would not see unless you were in line.Time
It was Late evening but they had a ton of flood lights on it so it was taken handheld and without a flash.Lighting
I had taken long exposure shots away from the Ferris Wheel but I have always liked this best. It is typical after post processing I think of more ways I could taken it. Have not been back since but will try it again this year no doubt.Equipment
I used my Canon 6D with my Canon 24-105 which is my favorite combo to use.Inspiration
The lines is what drew me in. I was in the perfect spot. I have always been drawn to lines and angles but had never been able to get it rightEditing
Converted to black and white to have bolder look and keep the sky totally block along with some cropping and straightening. I can never take a perfectly level photo. In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon 6d, Canon flash 430EX and my Canon 70-200 1.8. I have been packing my mirror less Canon M2Feedback
I have to always remind myself to not rely on post/processing to fix a shot. In this shot I kept moving around shooting from multiple angles and in In this case, being aware of the shadows. This was taken as close to the bottom of it while focusing on the leading lines keeping the foreground and background in focus.
