I believe it was around 7pm in the summer.Lighting
I'm all about natural light. It was around 7pm and the sun was behind the building we were shooting at, so that helped with having her evenly lit.Equipment
I used a canon 70D with a 70-200mm lens.Inspiration
For me it's all about the person I'm photographing. I love to take close ups that show emotion. For this photo I wanted to take a simple close up with a feminine touch.Editing
I mainly use Lightroom for all my editing. For this particular shot I didn't need to do much. First I cleared a few blemishes, brighten and sharpen the eyes, then I applied a personal preset. After that I adjusted the exposure by bringing it up a bit, I usually under expose while shooting, then raise the highlights in her face and lastly sharpened the photo.In my camera bag

Try shooting during golden hour. I had the model stand straight then lean her chest towards the camera.
