Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in the Independence Park, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in the middle of trouble days because of the new taxes.Time
This photo I took it at night about 8pm at the end of the protest, I had to quickly slow down the shutter speed because it was raining and I wanted the least possible noise and the flickering effect of the candle flames.Lighting
I wanted to give a slight movement effect to the light so instead of raising the iso lower the shutter speed to get it.Equipment
Hand held, I used a NIkon D5000 with a regular 18/200 lens, not a low light lens.Inspiration
I was looking some images that evoke hope and at the same time something different rather than just peaple screaming and carrying flyersEditing
Some denoise and brightnessIn my camera bag
Now I use a NIkon D750, 70-200mm 2.8 Nikkor a 24-70mm 2.8 Nikor and a 10/20mm wide angle. Manfrotto tripote Some light and flash.Feedback
