Stillness in Solitude

On a calm morning this lake is a very tranquil and peaceful place to be. The resiliency of this tree is a marvel of nature, and I enjoyed photographing it very much.

I recently discovered the tranquil ruggedness of Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island. Join me and local photographer Thomas Dawson (who knows the area better than anyone after years of bushwhacking around beaches and trails) for a weekend workshop-tour Sept 23rd and 24th, 2017.

We'll be going to some beautiful, rugged coastline locations and as a special bonus, we'll be doing a Friday evening sunset shoot near Port Renfrew at no extra charge.

Included: On the field and indoor instruction (including lectures on composition, post processing tips, luminosity masks, after glow effects and more) and guidance to all locations. If we end up with clear skies during any of the evenings, it is a great spot for astro-photography.

Not included: accommodation, transportation, meals or camera equipment, however, we will be making recommendations for where people can stay which will offer a variety of pricing options.

A moderate level of fitness is recommended and all levels of photographers are welcome!
