I took this picture at Formula1 race track Istanbul Park circuit (Turkey) in 2010.Time
The picture was taken around noon time.Lighting
No pacific lighting - just dull daylight.Equipment
I was using a 35 mm lens on a Nikon D300.Inspiration
Grid girls were lining up just before entering the starting grid and I took the chance to capture them all wearing the same type of shoes. I like the simplicity and the contrast.Editing
I applied simple skin retouch, corrected the white balance and added a slight vignette to the lower edges of the image.In my camera bag
Most important is to have the camera with you and use it. This is more important than getting lost in tech-quipment.Feedback
