Location
The Picture was taken in my home studio, a room of 4.5m*5m. Since there is no door to the next room and the entrance is around 1.5m wide I can stand in there and get some extra 2, 3mTime
it was Evening - but, again, it was in the studio :-)Lighting
I used 2 flashes: 1 controlling the shades (135cm octa box) and the leading light (70cm beauty dish with an additional front diffusor).Equipment
I used my Canon EOS 5DsR, Sigma 50/1.5 Art, 1 Elinchrom Style 300 (70cm white beauty dish with additional diffusor) and 1 Elinchrom Quadra 400 (135cm Octa)Inspiration
I love black&white or faded Colors in nude shots that have a quiet undertone - even melancholic mood. In this Picture you can notice that the woman is looking at flowers that have already lost some leaves.Editing
I added some contrast in post, micro contrast and made the vignette stronger. In my camera bag
In my bag there is usually my camera, 2 zooms (16-35/4 & 70-200/2.8) and the following fixed lenses: 24/1.4, 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.2. My bag is pretty heavyFeedback
Always try to expand your portfolio with a few unusual shots, try breaking rules, add a few small things (knowing that most people won't see them). Often my shootings are split in sections of "I know what I do" and "I am trying". Just start with "I know what I do" ;-)
