The photo has been taken in my living room, for me photography is a way to speriment new ways to express myself.Time
The photo has been taken in the evening, with the collaboration of my son, who held a hair-dryer. It has taken several tries to get the wanted effect, but it was absolutely worth it.Lighting
I wanted the lighting to show only what was neccessary, so I lowered my roll-up shutters and reflected the flash on the white ceiling.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 7D with a EF50mm f/1.8 II lens a tripod and a Metz AF 58 flash.Inspiration

Yes, I did. I used Photoshop CS refining the tones and marking the lighting and the shade where I didn't want for the eye to be watching.In my camera bag
I'll always bring my 7D Canon, that has pretty much become part of me with a 18/50 mm lens. Never knowing what I'll see I usually pack a 100 mm and a 55/250 mm lens that weights more then I do, but at least I am ready for anything I could come across. Last but not leas I bring my son as a model.Feedback
You'll need tons of patience, a remote trigger for the camera and the flash, and a programm that shows the photo on a monitor so to avoid having to run back and forth to check the picture and losing the pose.
