Such a great image..showing why the African/dutch name of this bird is Nimmerzat (never enough). And this is one of my top 5 images...but I can choose only one and there are a couple of them that I personally like a little bit better...sorry..

To be a parent is often not easy. The painted stork (Mycteria leucocephala) is no exception from this rule. When a parent is arriving the children start to moaning. It sounds really like the moaning of human babies. They are fulfilling a kind of dance and pressurise the adult bird until it opens its beak. On my photo you can see the tail of a fish coming out. After the adult bird has left the place, the children are immediately quiet.
