Voyageur Canoes have been around since 1969 and are manufactured out of a small town not far from me called Millbrook, Ontario. These canoes are the result of a Passion for Canoeing and the need for a lighter Canoe. It was felt the Centuries old method of Cross-rib hull reinforcing could be applied to more modern materials. As a result for many years they have built canoes with stronger and lighter hulls using new synthetic materials. Voyageur Canoe has been known as leaders for their Laminate Designs that result in one of the most durable and impact-resistant canoe hull constructions available.
