My iPhone 6s Plus!Inspiration
I love nature, and especially details in nature. Most of the time, I only have my phone with me, because my "big beast" camera is bulky and heavy. When I am out and about with my children, I always see things that prompt me to say to myself, "Oh! That would make a great picture!" or, "I want to see if I can capture the details of this thing." Which is exactly what happened for this picture. The bee was collecting pollen slowly, so I got my phone as close to it as I possible could and snapped several photos. I've gotten pretty good at tapping the screen multiple times while trying to get the best focus and taking it at just the right moment before it tries to refocus on something else. I didn't even know the amount of detail on the bee was there until after I took the photo!Editing
I did! I cropped the original picture to just focus on the details of the bee, and some of the flower. I also brightened it just a tad.In my camera bag
In situations like this photo, I only carry my iPhone. I am hoping to hone in my skills on mobile photography. True, anyone with a phone can take a picture, but I'm trying to take photos out in every day life that show the details and wonders that we would either normally not see, or overlook because we are so busy with our mundane routines.Feedback
Be patient! I took several other photos that were good, but lucked out with this one in particular. Also, if interested in details of things, zoom in on a picture you took and see if you find any surprises! I found some with this picture in that I could see the details in the wings and the fuzzy hair of the bee, and also the pollen that was stuck to the side of the bee!
