Location
This photograph was taken in Burma, on Lake Inle. Traditional fishing technique in Burma, which consists of using a cage to deposit underwater, allowing only the fish to enter. Patience and calm are necessary qualities for this type of fishing.Time
The photograph was made very early in the morning, when the lake still seems to sleep. The choice of this photo, my favorite, is for me all the more important, because it really represents the type of scene that one can attend in Burma.Lighting
The mist of heat is already very present and creates a special atmosphere, supressing all horiton and leaving us alone with these few silhouettes of fishermen coming out of nowhere.Equipment
I used my Canon EOS 7D Mark II with the Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary. The focal length was 400mm for an Aperture of 9/1.Inspiration
The country itself is an infinite source of inspiration, the people, the culture, the landscapes, the history of the country with its colonization by the English, leaving the marks of an architecture still present throughout the country.Editing
I did a black and white processing, then an HDR to bring out the main subject of the background. In my camera bag
I usually have with me my Canon 7d Mark II, a Canon EF24-70mm f / 4L, the Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3, a tripod and some batteries and backup filters.Feedback
I think you have to be an observer and have patience. The photographer must have the art of grasping the second decisive, but especially the art of anticipating it. Try to show your vision of the scene by creating a strong and aesthetic atmosphere that departs from the simple representation of the subject. Additionally, you don't give it all away, but instead, you let imagine the possibilities.
