Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a colonial farm in the rural areas of Muzambinho, a town in the interior of Brazil

Time

This photo was taken on September 04, 2016 at 2:39 pm

Lighting

As the sunlight was very strong, I used a polarizing filter

Equipment

For this photo I used a Canon T3, with a 24-105mm f/4 lens

Inspiration

The farmer was using the motorcicle to spread the coffee in the yard. It is a widely used practice in Brazil. So I found the best option Panning to give a feeling of speed.

Editing

Lightroom was used to give more clarity and color contrasts

In my camera bag

I always carry my Canon 6D and two lenses. EF24-105mm f4 and another EF70-200mm f4

Feedback

Always when doing Panning, avoid making the times when the sun is too strong. In this photo I used the speed 1 / 20s and had to use an aperture f16 not to burst the photo. Panning is always done at low speed and accompanying the subject to give this blur effect to the background of the image.
