Location
This was taken at the top of Grimes Canyon between Moorpark & Fillmore Ca. It is a favorite short cut from Ventura California to Moorpark/Simi Valley, but the road is very winding and twisting.Time
This was taken in early summer just after sunset so it was around 7:30 pm.Lighting
This is all natural lighting using the same techniques as light trails/start trails.Equipment

I love night time photography but living in Southern California I have to settle for light trails vs star trails a lot of the time. I saw a similar shot from fellow viewbug member Robert Jensen and he was kind enough to give me the coordinants for this shot. My friend & I hiked down the side of the hill for a little different point of view.Editing

Go early, scout your position out, set up, use a tripod, manual focus and have fun when the light/action gets good.
