Trail head fire destroyed 5,646 acres,Started June.2016 and they got it completely out July, 2016. First time I drove thru here after the fires brought tears to my tears,miles and miles completely gone.. Thank God the brilliant man that start this is behind bars...Drove up to Georgetown yesterday and its looking more beautiful then the last time I was here... So this is the Road to New Beginnings in Georgetown and the rest that was destroyed!

Love the cloud formation, And yes a fire leaves an ugly scare to a forest but when it comeback you hardly know what happened We have had two major destructive fires in Alberta that have almost destroyed two cities.,but we also need fires to clean up old growth and start new life it the forest.

The fires seem to be in so many parts of the country - even Canada has it's devastating fires - last year it was Fort McMurray. Thank you for the History behind this area...........so sad. Amazing cloud formations Melissa. Yes, thank God he is behind bars !!
