If I may ask what lens did you use was it the 18-55 kit? The clarity of all the artwork even in the distance is awesome. You captured a masterpiece of craftsmanship.

The composition is perfectly balanced and draws you into the alter and capped by the superbly lighted blue above is amazing. Exquisite detail and tones throughout make this a masterpiece. Indoor captures light this are very difficult. Congrats on being featured.

Location
I took this photo in Notre-dame basilica in Ottawa Canada.Time
It was mid morning if I remember correctly, before all the tourists lol.Lighting
The lighting is all natural light but with multiple long exposures.Equipment
I used a Canon 7d with a 18-55mm lens that came with my first rebel I got about 11 or 12 years ago and a tripod.Inspiration
I wanted to try an hdr image and thought this would be the best place so this is actually my first hdr.Editing
Yes I combined 5 images of different exposures -2,-1,0,+1,+2, in photoshop then finished the picture in lightroom with a bit of saturation, clarity and vibrance. In my camera bag
I have a Canon 7d with 70-200mm 2.8 is II, 18-55mm, 50mm and a 10-22mm lenses, a circular polariser, and a variable nd filter, two 430ex flash with pocket wizard a good tripod and a reflector.Feedback
Don't over do it with hdr, or anything else for that matter, a little goes a long way. Use a tripod and take time to consider your composition. I used live view to check the focus and composition and shot with auto exposure bracketing.
