Location
This picture was taken in the lawn. I'm an amateur photographer with limited time and money. So when I wanted a back-lit insect-on-grass picture, I simply stopped mowing the lawn. It took about three weeks, but it was worth it :).Time
The neighbours have a tall tree that engulfs my garden in shadow after eight. For this picture there was about a ten minute window where the setting sun hit the grass. Golden hour is always special time, no matter where you are.Lighting
I used no artificial lighting whatsoever. Just a weevil, a camera and myself :).Equipment
