Location
I was out hiking in Springbrook National Park. We meant to hike an 8km path but ended up taking the wrong one which lead us on a 17km hike. Happened to be the best mistake we made because the hike was incredible. Waterfalls like this one were everywhere.Time
This was taken during the after.Lighting
All day it was sunny without a single cloud and right around this time big clouds were rolling in so it got quite foggy which added a bit more to the picture.Equipment
Sony a6300 with the 16-50mm kit lens.Inspiration
I saw the moment and had to capture it. It was unplanned and perfect.Editing
It was fairly dark so I definitely brought up the exposure and shadows in the center to add a bit of a focus to my friend in front of the waterfall. In my camera bag
I dont carry much with me. Sony a6300, Circular Polarizer, 16-50mm kit lens, and a 55-210mm lens. I carry my small action camera and a couple attachments.Feedback
When you accidentally take the wrong path. Just go with it. It may lead to incredible places.
