Came upon a pair of red fox pups playing in the yard - tried to get a closer shot of them when they spotted my approach - kicked off my shoes in the crunchy grass and quietly made my approach to their "den" under an old building - I peaked around the hedge that separated me from them and quickly snapped off 3 shots - it was sitting behind some junk watching me - it's litter mate was about 3 ft away from me and barking in warning to it's sibling - all I could see of it was it's little nose below the building - this one quickly slipped away and despite my moving farther away from the building and the den they did not come back out
