Situated north to south on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park is filled with incredible non-technical climbing trails and vistas. Running on only five hours of sleep and some good campfire coffee, we experienced the park from sunrise to sunset--hiking over seven miles, getting our boots and jeans filthy muddy, and embracing the cold wind as it tangled-up our hair. Kenzie, who is pictured, packed her flowy red skirt for the hike, and put it on for portraits at sunset.
