This fledgling Kestrel was in the top of a pine tree over 60 feet tall. It was waiting for a parent to return with it's lunch. I waited some time in the hope that I would see a parent come with something to share but I had to go before that occurred. The Utah mountains East of Salt Lake City is the location for the photo.
