This year we seem to have an enormous increase in the amount of insects in our garden. In particular we are overrun with European Wasps and these ants have just appeared. I was just so lucky to have the camera on me at the time to get this shot in fact I wish I had of caught it a second later when the ant had a hold on the wasp. It was amazing to see the ant defending its territory.
