This was on a tiny canoe in the backwaters of Alappuzha, located in the eastern part of the state.
The concept of house boats is very popular in this region. A good experience too. This time though, trying to do something different, we got chatting with some locals who offered to show us around. See the parts where they lived and where tourists were non existent.
Calm and serene, we were transported to another world. One which we felt very fortunate and grateful to be in.
Make the time to visit here, you will not regret it.
